A multitude, a gaggle, a legion, a deluge of high school football prospects will ascend on State College this weekend. The number will likely surpass triple digits, as Penn State's spring showcase may be the hottest recruiting event of the weekend. Don't take our word for it, just believe five-star 2020 wide receiver Julian Fleming.

Here's a rundown of some of the big names expected to be in attendance. For full lists, you can check out Lions247($) and BWI($).

tickets punched

The biggest camp honor for high school prospects is an invitation to The Opening, Nike's premier summer football camp/competition. Here's the list of Penn State targets thus far invited to the final in Frisco, Texas.

Hoops head boss Pat Chambers is pounding the recruiting circuit, landing the Lions in the mix for grad transfers Joe Cremo, Michael Finke, and Nat Dixon. He's also making visits to visit high school prospects in the 2019 and 2020 classes.

  • Maceo Austin is a three-star 2019 shooting guard from Kennedy Catholic in Hermitage, Pa. Chambers took the whole crew to visit Austin.
  • Moulaye Sissoko is a 2019 three-star brickhouse of a power forward from Mali. He's playing at Lincoln Academy in Suwanee, Ga.

Sean Wracher is a 2019 long snapper from Cleveland. Pitt is his other Power 5 offer.

Braylen Ingraham is a 2019 four-star DE from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. His other offers include Oklahoma, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State...you get the idea.

Myles Murphy is a 2020 five-star defensive end from Powder Spring, Ga. He's 247Sports' No. 34 overall player in the class, and the No. 2 strong-side defensive end.
