Weekend love

Penn State is still getting love from recruits after a hosting an elite camp over the weekend. Four-star tight end Jahleel Billingsley's dad was the unofficial weekend photographer, and Jahleel shared some photos of himself sporting the icy white uniforms.

Nittany Lion fans also got their first glimpse of five-star linebacker Brandon Smith in the blue and white. Smith, who committed to Penn State back in May, is currently the second ranked linebacker in the 2019 class.

Penn State appears to be the favorite for four-star safety Lewis Cine. He also seemed to enjoy his second trip to Happy Valley since late last September.

New rivals rankings

Rivals released their latest list of the top 100 prospects for the 2019 class, with a few Nittany Lion commits and targets making the cut.

  • RB Devyn Ford - No. 13
  • LB Brandon Smith - No. 59
  • OL Caedan Wallace - No. 68

Despite each of these players dropping from where they were in the last set of rankings, Rivals still has Penn State with the 13th ranked class in the nation and second in the Big Ten.

Penn State on Brown's top 10 schools

James Franklin and Co. may have offered Derrian Brown less than two weeks ago, but that didn't stop the four-star running back from naming the Nittany Lions in his top ten schools. Although a Georgia native, Brown does not have the Bulldogs on his list.
