Franklin heads to Camp

James Franklin and JaJuan Seider returned to Florida last week for a satellite camp on FIU's campus. Before their trip was all said and done, a few attendees picked up Penn State offers.

One offer went out to 2020 corner and Miami commit Henry Gray. Already standing at 6'1/175, Gray is the type of lanky corner James Franklin has loved throughout his tenure at Penn State.

2020 OLB Derek Wingo also received a Penn State offer while attending the satellite camp. Ohio State is the heavy favorite for the three-star outside linebacker, with a visit to Columbus scheduled for next weekend.

Franklin was also spotted in Virginia while attending a camp at Old Dominion.

Camp SZN Fully underway

With the Lion Strong 7-on-7 and Big Man Challenge happening over the weekend back in Happy Valley, the offers didn't stop rolling in once the staff was out of the Sunshine State.

One of the youngest prospects at the camp, 2021 defensive end Colin Mobley, picked up a Penn State offer after an impressive weekend. Mobley will be a sophomore at Dematha Catholic in Maryland in the fall, the same school as current Penn State defensive end Shane Simmons.

Mobley's teammate, Coziah Izzard, also left Happy Valley with a Penn State offer under his belt. Izzard, a four-star prospect, is the tenth ranked WDE in the 2020 class and the number four player in Maryland.

Asiedu, ford say goodbye...for now

Nana Asiedu and Devyn Ford have been dominating Virginia high school football for a few years now. Following his graduation last week, Asiedu is off to Penn State shortly to begin his collegiate career with the Lions. With Ford's commitment to Penn State, the duo will reunite not too far down the road.

Penn State in play for the next jimmer?

Is Joseph Girard the next Jimmer Fredette? Probably not, but that won't stop us from comparing the two. The 2019 combo guard is from the same high school as the former BYU sharpshooter after all. Girard released his top six schools over the weekend, with Penn State making the cut.
