Ohhhhhhh boy if you like reading up on Penn State scholarship offers then you are in the right place. Nearly a dozen players picked up offers this week, and we have them all here in one place. In addition to the slew of offers that went out, the team added a preferred walk-on kicker for the 2019 class to close out a torrid recruiting weekend.

The offers

One of the fastest rising 2019 players in the midwest, Josiah Miamen, picked up a Penn State offer last week. Similar to Penn State tight end John Holland, Miamen could play either tight end or defensive at the collegiate level.

James Franklin is hoping his recruiting success in Florida will continue, offering 2020 two-way lineman Marcus Dumervil. Penn State is entering the Dumervil sweepstakes a bit late, with in-conference rivals Michigan and Ohio State offering a few months ago.

After a strong showing at this weekend's camp, 2020 OLB Cody Simon claimed a Nittany Lion offer. Simon currently has five scholarship offers, with Notre Dame appearing to be the heavy favorite.

After landing the top player in Massachusetts in two of the last three classes, Penn State has offered 2020 Cambridge native Jaden Dottin. The four-star wide receiver is the number three player in the Bay State.

Franklin returned to some familiar recruiting grounds, offering 2019 four-star Tennessee wide receiver Trey Knox. Knox is from Murfreesboro, Tenn., which I know nothing about. But if you watch this video of noted funny person John Mulaney, he'll tell you about a time he did stand up comedy there.

Still relatively thin at linebacker, Penn State has entered the race for 2020 OLB Jaylen Harrell. Standing at 6'4/235, the four-star linebacker was the size of a guy who could contribute immediately.

Maryland has been one of Franklin's favorite states since taking over in Happy Valley. He's hoping for more success with 2019 OT Zachary Franks. Franks was high school teammates with current Penn State DT Ellison Jordan.

2021 WR Isaiah Johnson has spent a lot of time around the program over the past month. After attending his second camp of June, Johnson received an offer from the staff.

Philadelphia native Kyle McCord became one of the first 2021 quarterbacks to receiver a Penn State offer. Only heading into his sophomore season, McCord already stands at 6'3/195.

Another yuge youth, 6'4, 2021 Dont'e Thornton is exactly the type of receiver Penn State loves to have on the outside. The Nittany Lions offered the Baltimore native after a strong showing at a camp this weekend.

We'll close out with an offer from Pat Chambers to 2019 small forward Chris Ledlum (Staten Island, NY). Ledlum has a whole host of mid-and high-major offers, including Pitt, Wake Forest, St. John's, Seton Hall, UMass, and Harvard.

Isaac in the house

One of Franklin's top remaining defensive targets for 2019, DE Adisa Isaac camped at Penn State this weekend, and happy posted pics on Twitter. The Nittany Lions currently own all five picks for Isaac in the 247 Crystal Ball, who is ranked the No. 153 overall prospect for the 2019 class.

Lions make warren's top five

It's a Big Ten heavy race for 2020 DT Denver Warren. Warren has cut down his list of schools to Penn State, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Cincinnati. The four-star prospect is the No. 5 player in Illinois.
