The DC-Maryland-Virginia region has been very good to Penn State over the years, and the talent level in the DMV is as rich as it has been in recent memory The Nittany Lions tapped into that talent once again with the verbal commitment from four-star offensive tackle Aaryn Parks.
Parks earned his Penn State offer just days after camping for the coaching staff in June of 2018. That trip to Happy Valley was his first, but he called the scholarship offer a dream come true at the time. The Nittany Lions offer followed Michigan, Florida, Oregon, Maryland, and North Carolina, among others.

Parks backed up the "dream offer" claim with his travel as well, returning to Happy Valley several times in the last nine monnths. Those trips include the 2018 Lasch Bash, and September's Ohio State game.
Parks is the tenth member of Penn State's 2020 class, and the fifth offensive lineman. He joins fellow tackle Grant Toutant, and interior prospects R.J. Adams, Golden Achumba, and Nicholas Dawkins. With five players in the fold along the line, expect the Nittany Lions to be picky with any remaining players up front.
The Nittany Lions move up to No. 6 nationally according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, good for the top class in the Big Ten.
