A year after landing three top-100 players along the defensive line (Micah Parsons, Jayson Oweh, P.J. Mustipher), Penn State continues to build elite depth up front. Brooklyn native, and four-star top-100 prospect Adisa Isaac, has committed to the Nittany Lions over Miami.

Isaac was offered earlier this year, and has been a regular in Happy Valley since. He was on campus in March, and returned again in April for the Blue-White Game, June for the elite White Out camp, July for the Lasch Bash, and in September for his official visit the weekend of the Ohio State game.
The isaac File
- Class: 2019
- Size: 6'5/220 lbs.
- Pos: DE
- School: Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY)
- Composite Rating: ★★★★ (.9625)
- Composite Rank: No. 79 overall, No. 4 WDE
Just about every major program in the nation has extended a scholarship offer to Isaac. Texas A&M was the Nittany Lions' early competition, but a solid push from Miami made them a late factor. Michigan, Alabama, LSU, and Florida make up a handful of other big names in his list of offers.
Isaac checks just about every box for a defensive line coach. He has elite athleticism, and his ability to get to the passer is among the best in the class. Add in a big 6'5, 220-pound frame with room to grow, and it's not hard to see why he's become such a hot commodity.
Isaac, the top overall player in New York, is the 17th commitment in the 2019 class, which now sits at No. 12 nationally according to the 247 Sports composite. He joins four-star prospect Hakeem Beamon as the only other defensive lineman currently committed, although that will change as more players make their final decisions either later this week, or next year.
