Five-star defensive end Bryan Bresee has a frequent sight around Penn State this year, making three trips up to campus. The nation's top overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting class released his top-six today, with the Nittany Lions making the cut. They are joined by Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Clemson, and Georgia.

It has become a constant refrain around these parts, but the 2020 recruiting class has the potential to be a special one for James Franklin and Penn State. The talent in and around Pennsylvania is among the best and deepest it has been in some time, and the Nittany Lions have put themselves in prime position to land a number of the top players.
That list begins with Bresee. He was last on campus in September for the Ohio State game, but also returned for July's Lasch Bash, and April's Blue-White Game. Only Georgia can boast as many visits from the dominant lineman this calendar year. All told, he has ventured to Happy Valley six times since early-2017. There is a ways to go, but the Nittany Lions have to like where they stand at this stage with that type of relationship in place.
Ohio State holds a slight edge in 247Sports Crystal Ball picks, however the last three picks, including 247's Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, have gone to Penn State.
