Penn State has been searching for a second wide receiver to join Miami area four-star prospect John Dunmore, who signed with the Nittany Lions in December. They have found their guy a little further north in the Sunshine State. TJ Jones has committed to PSU.
The Nittany Lions offered Jones back in May, but it was not until more recently that they began to pursue him heavily. With David Bell selecting Purdue, and Cornelius Johnson signing with Michigan, Jones became the next man up on the wide receiver board.

Penn State's primary competition at the end came from Indiana, but Jones also claims offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Duke, Florida and Louisville, among others.
Jones did not act on that scholarship offer from May until late last month when he took his official visit to Happy Valley. Ja'Juan Seider, and new wide receivers coach Gerad Park also spent time in Lake City earlier this month to renew the Lions' interest.
Jones is commitment No. 23 for Penn State, which jumps back ahead of Florida for 10th place nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. As mentioned, he is the second receiver commitment in this class, joining fellow Floridian John Dunmore.
