Galt's Praise

Dwight Galt has been, behind the scenes, arguably one of the two or three most important staff members for James Franklin. Even when Penn State wasn't recruiting five-stars with regularity, Galt was turning players into athletic freaks. It's one thing to mold a masterpiece out of a diamond, but it's a whole other thing to mold a masterpiece out of nothing.

In an article by Charles Power of 247Sports, he specifically pointed out Galt's value to the Nittany Lions' program.

Penn State’s Dwight Galt is unequivocally among the best strength and conditioning coaches in the nation and further stamped that reputation.– Charles Power

James Franklin must do everything in his power to hold onto Dwight Galt as long as he wants to continue his career.

All-Star Games

Two key 2020 recruits for Penn State, safety Jordan Morant and linebacker commit Curtis Jacobs, announced their invites to the Adidas All-American. Morant actually committed to play in the game at the same time, and it's likely Jacobs will as well as this is the pinnacle of high school football accolades.

Both are proving to be top-flight recruits and Penn State would love to go 2/2 here.

New Offers

Penn State went down into John Dunmore's old stomping grounds of Hollywood, FL for this one, offering 2021 wide receiver Damien Alford. The 6-5, 205-pound wideout has future five-star written all over him.

Franklin & Co. offered 2020 tight end Kendall Karr (Cramerton, NC).

list love

Three-star Tampa, FL TE Jonathan Odom has a much higher-profile offer list than his ranking (Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Miami, LSU, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, PSU), and included Penn State in his top 11.
