Richardson Plans Commitment
Three-star quarterback, Anthony Richardson (Gainesville, FL) recently announced intentions to make a new commitment.

He was thought to be one of Penn State's top targets at the position. The 6-4, 230-pound gun-slinger has the athleticism to be a great talent but his throwing will need some work. However, with the commitment of Micah Bowens, it's unclear what Penn State's intentions are with the top dual threat QB in Florida. It seems unlikely that the Nittany Lions would take two quarterbacks again this year, but with the volatility at the position, the staff may know something we do not.
Johnson Names a New Leader
Penn State made a big move with a three-star cornerback out of Virginia. While on campus, Joseph Johnson finally received an offer and subsequently named Penn State the leader in his recruitment. It's unclear what his next steps will be in the recruiting process.
There was a large contingent of recruits on campus in the last seven days. Penn State was looking to made up ground with four-star Indiana DT Cole Brevard. Heading into the weekend, the 247Sports Crystal Ball was 100 percent in favor of Clemson, but one pick has shifted since his visit.

Four-star DE Coziah Izzard (Laurel, MD) out of DeMatha High School also spent time on campus this weekend. With the volatility of defensive tackle recruitment and success rates, Penn State wants to lock down these two sooner rather than later.
