The top news of today is three-star OG Golden Achumba of DeMatha pledged to play for the Nittany Lions. Let's get that pipeline open all the way!

Carr Visits

Weston Carr of Azusa Pacific University (Los Angeles) traveled east to Penn State for an official visit over the weekend. The younger brother of former Northwestern and All-B1G wide receiver Austin Carr, Weston has lit it up at the D-2 level. He's produced 167 receptions, 3,005 yards, and 36 touchdowns.

Should he choose the Nittany Lions, he could provide some sorely-needed reliable and veteran depth at the receiver position.

Mcgregor's top 10

Braiden McGregor, a four-star defensive end from Michigan, released a top 10 that included the Nittany Lions. The rest his finalists are Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Clemson, Oregon, Florida, and Miami. That's quite the star-studded list.

McGregor was most recently on Penn State's campus March 30. Michigan has had trouble in recent years keeping the top talent in-state and this will be no different. They're currently the Crystal Ball leader, but Notre Dame and Clemson have both picked up a few picks. McGregor has been very active with visits to all of his top choices and that won't slow down, so this recruitment will be a fight to the end.

2021 wide receiver commit Dont'e Thornton made it back to campus. He will surely be a fan favorite as he is quite enthusiastic about Penn State and he will end his cycle as a very highly ranked recruit.

2021 wide receiver Lorenzo Styles Jr., like any Ohio native, will be tough to pry away from the Buckeyes.

One of Penn State's top offensive line targets on the board, 2020 offensive tackle Anton Harrison made it back for a much-needed visit to get some momentum back on Penn State's side.
