Virginia continues to host an embarrassment of riches for Penn State on the recruiting trail. The latest prospect to head to from VA tot PA is 2020 three-star offensive guard R.J. Adams out of Woodbridge.
The Nittany Lions got in on this recruitment on February 2, offering Adams while he was on campus for a Junior Day.

Adams held offers from Miami, Florida State, NC State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan State. The Hurricanes, Wolfpack, and Tar Heels were the biggest competitors for Adams' services.
Up until his first visit to Penn State in February, Adams was extremely quiet on the recruiting front. Since that trip, he has visited West Virginia, North Carolina, N.C. State, Miami, and Alabama. His follow-up visit to Penn State this weekend was enough to seal the deal.
Adams is commit No. 7 for Penn State in 2020, bringing them to 10th in the nation and third in the Big Ten.
Adams will need to improve his initial explosion and punch, but he does finish blocks well. Part of that certainly comes from being bigger than everyone else at the high school level. As with most offensive linemen, he's a near guarantee to redshirt at Penn State, and likely not be counted on to take significant snaps until his third year on campus at the earliest.
