Penn State target Elliot Donald

Pittsburgh to happy valley

Pittsburgh Central Catholic's own Elliot Donald paid the Nittany Lions a visit last weekend. Donald is the No. 2 prospect in Pennsylvania according to 247Sports and is one of the top defensive ends in the country in the 2021 class.

The Nittany Lions have offered 2021 defensive end Bryce Langston. A five-star prospect, Langston is from the heart of Ja'Juan Seider's recruiting ground, his high school is about 45 minutes from Seider's old stomping grounds at the University of Florida.

Fellow 2021 defensive end Kelvin Gilliam picked up a Penn State offer. A four-star prospect according to 247Sports, the Virginia native is from a greater Richmond area that has been very kind to the Nittany Lions in recent years.

Three-star offensive tackle Gerald Mincey scored a Penn State offer on Thursday. Checking in at 6'5/324, the Florida native already looks the part of a Division I offensive lineman.

The staff headed out west for their latest offer, 2021 tight end Sam Hart. At 6'5/225, the Colorado native has picked up offers from Ohio State, LSU, and Virginia Tech in the past three weeks.

Also hailing from the Centennial State, the Nittany Lions have offered three-star offensive tackle Trey Zuhn. He's captured the attention of some of the areas top teams, with his most recent offers coming from Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Michigan.

Seider's song choice

Ja'Juan Seider continues to find ways to resonate with recruits, tweeting out some lyrics to "Old Town Road" while on a recruiting trip in Florida. A Google search tells me there are an estimated 299,000 horses in Florida, which is more than I would have estimated.
