Penn State football has lost out on another recruit to Ohio State. Four-star 2020 offensive tackle Grant Toutant took to Twitter on Sunday and announced his decision to flip his commitment from the Nittany Lions to the Buckeyes.

The news comes out of left field. Toutant was the first commitment for Penn State in the 2020 class. At the time of his decision to commit to the Nittany Lions, Toutant was a three-star recruit, but eventually earned a fourth star and is currently listed as the 324th-best player in his class, per his 247Sports Composite rating.
Unfortunately, it appears Toutant will never be a Nittany Lion, as Ohio State swooped in and stole another recruit Penn State desperately wanted. The battle between the two schools over the past few years has turned into an absolute doozy, both on the field and on the recruiting trail, with the latest example coming on Sunday evening.
