Make the Cut
Four-star 2020 safety Jordan Morant trimmed down his recruitment to five final schools: Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and USC. While the Crystal Ball was once in favor of Penn State, and it has since swung to Michigan. With an expected decision not coming until January, it's very hard to tell where he'll truly end up. He will officially visit Penn State on June 14.

Daniyel Ngata, a four-star all-purpose back from California, also included Penn State in his cut, making his top-7 along with Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Utah, Arizona State, and Clemson. Penn State has missed out on a bunch of top running back targets, so they'll try to stoke the flame on this one and see if they can gain some real momentum.

A Familiar Name
A new Clifford is on the board. Liam Clifford, the younger brother of
Heisman favorite Sean Clifford, was offered while on campus this weekend. A 2021 prospect, the younger Clifford can do a bit of everything on the football field but projects as a receiver at the next level.
His other biggest offers have come from Michigan and Tennessee, but he's gotten very familiar with State College during his recruitment. Between camps and visits, he's been to campus no less than five times. Here's to hoping he follows in his brother's footsteps.
