Weekend Visitors

The headliner of this weekend's visitors was the staff's top target left on the board, 2020 four-star tight end Theo Johnson. The elite pass-catcher was in town to watch his older brother, Buffalo quarterback Dominic Johnson.

Any opportunity to get the Ontario-native to campus has to be chalked up as a positive. If nothing else, every trip to State College takes away an opportunity for Johnson to spend time at another school. Penn State continues to fight the likes of Iowa, Michigan, Georgia, and Miami for his services. He plans to take full advantage of official visits and he'll give every school a fair shot so James Franklin will have to sweat this one out to the end.

Also on campus was 2021 three-star offensive guard Nathaniel Bruce. The Harrisburg native is likely still in the early stages of his recruitment but it's tough to overlook any Pennsylvanian that's been to Penn State multiple times. He's surely one to keep an eye on.

Pitt Visitor List Gets started

The list of visitors for this weekend will surely rise as the week continues but there's already a big-time visitor, with 2022 four-star defensive-end Enai White announcing he will make the trip.

The Philadelphia native is already built like a young collegiate player at 6'5, 225 pounds. He's going to be an extremely coveted prospect as time goes on and more eyes land on him so the staff will try need to try to lock him down sooner rather than later.

Fellow Philly native Tysheem Johnson will also be making the trip to Beaver Stadium. The No. 9 safety in the 2021 class, Johnson picked up his Penn State offer back in January and made a trip to campus in May.

New offers

The Nittany Lions have offered 2021 tight end, Brock Bowers. A native of Napa, California, the four-star prospect currently has offers from USC, UCLA, and Nebraska, among others.

The Nittany Lions also extended an offer to 2021 defensive end Dylan Brooks. The Alabama native is the top edge rusher in his class at the No. 18 overall prospect.

Curtis jacobs shows off the wheels

Linebacker commit Curtis Jacobs has been dominating high schools defenses for a few years, but he can now add punt returner to his resume. The Maryland native showed off some great speed for a kid his size on an impressive return touchdown, something the coaching staff has to be excited about.
