Top 11 From Texas
Penn State is catching the eyes of some of the top running backs across the country. The latest is Brandon Campbell, a 2021 back out of Pearland, TX.
Having finished only his junior year of high school, Campbell is an athletic freak. He's listed at 5-10, 190 pounds and runs a 4.58 forty-yard-dash. As things currently stand, all of his Crystal Balls lie with Virginia Tech. We'll see how things play out as some bigger schools take notice of his talents.

With 28 commits in the 2020 Class, Penn State is understandably being very selective in the one or two spots they have left. It appeared at one point that they were ready to use one of those spots on West Virginia defensive end Sean Martin.
Following his official visit to State College in October, no noise came about of any impending decision. Instead, Martin made it clear he would still use two more official visits to West Virginia in November and Kentucky in December. Recently, Martin picked up another Crystal Ball to play for the hometown West Virginia Mountaineers. With momentum not on their side and no final visit to Penn State on the horizon, it appears Martin's recruitment will be heading in another direction.
As the high school seasons winds down, game film is starting to roll in. From the looks of it, several key targets have had great seasons.
- 2021 four-star quarterback Jake Rubley (Littleton, CO)
- 2021 five-star offensive tackle Nolan Rucci (Lititz, PA)
- 2020 three-star offensive tackle Jimmy Christ (Sterling, VA) - Penn State Commit
