Penn State did not go very far to find its next quarterback. Three-star 2022 prospect Beau Pribula, from just down the road in York, PA, has committed to the Nittany Lions.

Pribula received his Penn State offer in late-March of this year. That offer was followed by a huge flurry of crystal ball predictions from a number of 247Sports insiders.
The Pribula File
- Class: 2022
- Size: 6-2/195 lbs.
- Pos: Dual QB
- School: Central York (York, PA)
- Composite Rating: ★★★
- Composite Rank: No. 10 dual-threat QB
Along with the Lions, Pribula held offers from Temple, West Virginia, Nebraska, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech, among others. It was pretty clear Happy Valley was the spot, however. Penn State was the only school Pribula visited throughout the process. He camped for the staff in June of 2019, and returned later in the year for the Lions' homecoming game victory over Purdue in October.
Pribula fits the mold of a modern dual-threat quarterback very well. In fact, the Lions were looking at him as a possible receiver as well early on in the process. Even with him on board, don't expect Penn State to slow its pursuit of other signal-callers in the 2022 class. Given the makeup of the position at the moment, adding another prospect seems likely.
Pribula's commitment means Penn State's 2022 class is up to three members and No. 6 in the nation.
