Penn State Still in it

Three of the best players in the 2022 class included the Nittany Lions in their list of top schools. Cornerback Will Johnson, offensive tackle Gunner Givens, and defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton are all within the top-50 overall in their class and all have expressed interest in Penn State, to varying extents.

None of the three appear to be close to a decision. With on-campus visits being pushed back even further, it could be awhile before any more steps are taken for these three. All come from strong Penn State areas, but Dennis-Sutton attends from McDonogh School which has sent Curtis Jacobs, D'Von Ellies, and PJ Mustipher to Happy Valley in recent years. His connection to Penn State is likely the strongest.

KING TWINS IMPRESSIVE IN DEBUT

High school football is off and running throughout most of the nation. A trio of commits, 2021 four-star cornerback Kalen King, twin brother and three-star linebacker Kobe King, and four-star safety Jaylen Reed faced off in Detroit on Saturday. The King twins led Cass Tech to a victory over rival, and Reed's Martin Luther King squad.

A little closer to home, 2022 three-star quarterback Beau Pribula was impressive in his season opener for Central York.
