On Thursday, Evan Pryor, one of Penn State's top targets at the running back position for the 2021 recruiting class, announced his top-six schools. The list includes Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, North Carolina, Georgia, and the Nittany Lions.
The William Amos Hough High School product is a highly-sought-after prospect for every school recruiting him, and the Lions have been on him for quite some time. Starting with a Junior Day visit back in 2018, the top-100 recruit according to the 247Sports Composite has been a visitor in Happy Valley six times. His most recent visit was for the White Out win over Michigan this past fall. Ohio State currently leads on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, which consists of just two predictions at this point.
If Penn State is able to land Pryor, he would be the ninth blue-chip back to sign with the school since 2015 (Saquon Barkley, Andre Robinson, Miles Sanders, Ricky Slade, Devyn Ford, Noah Cain, Cazaiah Holmes, Keyvone Lee).
Aside from Pryor, James Franklin and his staff are also going hard after Virginia all-purpose back TreVeyon Henderson.
