Penn State has been hot on the recruiting trail, catching the eye of countless top targets. Among the list were some notable and familiar names like these.

These four make up some of the top priorities in the state of Pennsylvania in 2023. From left to right are four-star athlete Rodney Gallagher, four-star linebacker Ta'Mere Robinson, three-star cornerback and current commit Lamont Payne, and three-star linebacker Phil Picciotti. There is a ton of talent in-state in the 2023 class and James Franklin is making it a priority to keep that talent close to home. These four would be a tremendous way to do just that in 2023.

Allar wins the battle of Ohio

The lights were shining bright on Penn State commit Drew Allar and he showed up big time. ESPN captured Allar beat down Mentor, who themselves are led by five-star Notre Dame commit Brenan Vernon. Allar accounted for five touchdowns in the comfortable win.

Wylie an All-American

Three-star linebacker and Penn State commit, Keon Wylie, was honored with an invitation to the Adidas All-American Bowl game. Wylie has been wildly productive on the field in his senior season and the invite shouldn't come as a surprise.
