Wagner to Announce
Penn State's offensive line performance in 2021 has turned eyes toward offensive line recruiting. One of the centerpieces of that focus is Ohio four-star guard Aamil Wagner. The talented lineman recently announced plans to announce his college commitment on November 11th.
Penn State is battling with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Kentucky, and Maryland for the top-150 product. Kentucky currently holds 100% of the 247 Crystal Balls.
The Nittany Lions currently hold commitments from four offensive linemen – four-star Drew Shelton and three-stars JB Nelson, Andre Roye, and Maleek McNeil.
Crystal Balls for Miller
Another offensive line target that is toward the top of the wish list for the Nittany Lions is 2023 Virginia lineman Joshua Miller. Penn State has recently received 3 Crystal Balls, including one from National Recruiting Analyst Brian.
With his massive frame, he would provide a huge boost to the interior of the offensive line and would be a great guard to pair with current elite 2023 commit Alex Birchmeier. Miller doesn't have an official announcement date set at this time.
Top Schools for top targets
Penn State made the cut for two top targets, both from the 2023 Class. One was one of the best recruits in the nation in five-star cornerback Jahlil Hurley.
Following Hurley was interior offensive lineman and Michigan native Dylan Senda.
Based on the (19) offers I have received thus far, I have decided to narrow down my list to a Top (8). I am excited to learn more about these (8) opportunities and build upon my current relationships with these Coaches. I hope to make my decision soon! pic.twitter.com/iNI1JUgYAt— Dylan Senda (@dylansenda2023) November 1, 2021
With the tremendous success on the recruiting trail in the 2022 Class, Penn State wants to continue to build upon that momentum and they're catching the eye of some of the best recruits in the country.
