The Penn State coaching staff did everything they could to keep their hopes alive that Mark Webb would flip his commitment from Georgia to Penn State on National Signing Day, but it just wasn't made to be.
The four-star Archbishop Wood receiver officially sent in his letter of intent on Wednesday morning to end any sort of drama surrounding his recruitment. It was always going to be a long shot to flip Webb, but you have to give the staff credit for giving it their all, right down to the very end.

Regardless of the result, great on the staff to make this one a real battle up to the last day. Can't win 'em all.
