Although Levis has appeared under the radar for some time, the three-star athletic quarterback from Connecticut has had an impressive high school career and with some mental and physical development, he'll get even better at the next level.

Will Levis
Position: Pro-style quarterback
Height/Weight: 6'4/222
High School: Xavier (CT)
247Composite Rank: ★★★(0.8689)
Positional Rank: No. 626 Overall, No. 25 Pro-style quarterback, No. 2 in Connecticut
Commitment Date: July 15, 2017

RLR's Take

Levis appears to be a confident, patient quarterback with the height and weight to pair with it. He's quick with the ball and maintains his composure in pressure situations. While he won't get the starting spot right away, he's sure to be a good challenger later down the road. He's also an insanely athletic player who could find ways onto the field earlier than expected in a "Lion"-type role if that sticks around after Tommy Stevens eventually moves on.

Moving Forward

Red Light.

Penn State is expected to return starting quarterback Trace McSorley and Levis will have to battle it out with Sean Clifford, who held the No. 3 spot this last year and redshirt junior Jake Zembiec. If all things go as planned, look for Levis to spend the early part of his career as a Nittany Lion developing his skill before he takes the lead of the offense.
