Five-star defensive end Zach Harrison chose Ohio State over Penn State and Michigan.

Five-star defensive end Zach Harrison just completed one of the most secretive recruitment processes in recent memory, especially for a player of his stature and reputation in the recruiting community. The Nittany Lions remained a major player in the recruitment of the Ohio native, but in the end, he chose to commit to the Buckeyes and stay close to home.

Despite missing out on Harrison, Penn State has still put together a strong defensive end group in the 2019 recruiting class, consisting of four-stars Adisa Isaac and Hakeem Beamon. There is also a ton of depth, experience, and talent still on the Penn State roster on the edge.

With Harrison choosing Ohio State, that should wrap things up for Penn State on early signing day barring a shock commitment/letter of intent. Make sure to stick with Roar Lions Roar to stay up to date on what else to watch for in the remaining months of this recruiting cycle, as well as more detailed breakdowns of how they did during the early signing period.
