Penn State's running back room is already one of the best in the country, but Keyvone Lee gives the Nittany Lions another bigger back to further diversify the position. A long-time Florida Gator commit, the Ja'Juan Seider-Florida connection continues to be big for James Franklin and Penn State.

Lee brings a unique skill set to the Penn State running back room. He doesn't quite run the way you'd expect someone his size to run. While he's capable of lowering his head and dropping a boom on a defender, he's incredibly adept at bouncing it outside at the right moment. He also possesses a devastating jump cut. He'll be a tremendous short-yardage back as he's capable of wiggling his way out of trouble for some extra yardage.
Regardless of Lee's talent, there won't be a need for his services right out of the gate. Journey Brown, Noah Cain, Ricky Slade, and Devyn Ford already form an outstanding group of backs, not to mention fellow freshman Caziah Holmes. Penn State doesn't like to redshirt running backs, but it's tough to see how this all plays out with six elite players on the depth chart.
