Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi has a quick pace to his public speaking. He effortlessly spouts old-school, tough-guy, earn-your-jersey quotes that lather up Panthers and their western Pennsylvania fanbase.

He’s taken some cracks at Penn State (as he should! We dig the animosity!), and took credit for Ohio State’s defense during the Buckeyes’ 2014 national championship run. Earlier this year, Narduzzi apologized for remarks minimizing concussions and in 2011, he walked back comments about Michigan State’s defense putting forth “60 minutes of unnecessary roughness.”

Narduzzi is intense. Maybe a bit prickly. He’s brash. His quotes create headlines and spread to social media, getting shared thousands of times over.

Speaking of social media, if you use LinkedIn, you’re familiar with the inspirational quote memes that often litter the professional-networking channel’s timeline, aimed at making you think, engage, inspire/be inspired, purchase B2B software and climb the corporate ladder even higher and faster.

You know, something inspiring like this:

LinkedIn inspirational quote example. Isn't it good?

In the spirit of hitting every single angle during Pitt week and catching you up on all things Panthers, I teamed up with RLR Art Director Sean Baker to produce a very, very, very, very, very insightful game.

With that, friends, let's play:

Narduzzi, in fact, offered up this soundbite during Pitt's media day in August. Put that name on it. Get it on there.

Verdict

A LinkedIn meme that's been attributed to everyone from Tupac Shakur to Frank Ocean - just not Pat Narduzzi. But I could certainly be convinced otherwise.

It's a LinkedIn meme, but, man alive, does it sound like something he'd say.

It's an apparent quote from Kim Kardashian (look, I didn't want to research it that much) that found its way into a LinkedIn meme.

It's Narduzzi! He dropped this quote following an August practice, as he discussed the hiring of new offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

Verdict

It's a LinkedIn meme. And it's (allegedly) from comedian Steve Martin. But it oozes with that braggadocio, doesn't it?

Verdict

Well, it's a Narduzzi quote, again following practice in August. [NOTE: Corporate stock photography is so odd.]

Verdict

Narduzzi warbled this soundbite off at a Pitt practice while he was mic'ed up for behind-the-scenes video. Almost immediately after finishing his statement, Narduzzi blew his air horn, turned to run and tripped on the turf (I legitimately made that up).
