In an message sent to PennLive writer Greg Pickel on Monday night, 2017 signee Damion Barber confirmed that he would be making his long-awaited arrival in Happy Valley on Wednesday after missing the June move-in date. Barber, a four-star defensive end out of Harrisburg, had academic priorities to get in order before he could make his way to Penn State.
Barber tweeted this on Monday night:

At James Franklin's first press conference of the summer, he noted that he was confident that Barber would be academically eligible and on campus by the start of the fall semester.
