Barkley, Godwin Named to AP's All-Bowl Team for Outstanding Rose Bowl Performances

Saquon Barkley and Chris Godwin combined to account for more than 430 yards of offense and five touchdowns, earning the Penn State pair a place on the Associated Press' All-Bowl Team.

The honors, released Wednesday, recognized Barkley and Godwin's efforts for Penn State, which went tit for tat against USC in a 52-49 shootout loss in the Rose Bowl.

Just a sophomore (yes, remember, he is a sophomore), Barkley followed up his Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year performance by gashing USC for 194 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Barkley also added five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Godwin had perhaps his best game as a Nittany Lion. The junior wide receiver, who as of this writing has yet to announce if he'll be back for his senior year, caught nine balls for 187 yards and two touchdowns.
