Penn State announced this morning that they would honor the 2016 Big Ten champions in a ceremony before the Nittany Lions' September 9th matchup with in-state rival Pittsburgh. The weekend was already expected to be raucous as Happy Valley should be flooded with fans who will be looking for the team to avenge the 42-39 loss handed to the Lions in Heinz Field last September. This ceremony should only increase the excitement surrounding the Week 2 tilt.

If we can glean anything from the tweet, the "suite" reference probably acknowledges that the "2016" will join the other years representing undefeated teams, Big Ten champions, and national champions on the facade of the east side of the stadium. A year has not been added there since the 2012 team was commemorated during their season finale.
