We may only be two games into the 2017 football season, but the time has come to start planning for a few years down the road. The Big Ten released the nine game conference schedules for all 14 league teams for 2020 and 2021.
Starting in 2020, there will be Big Ten football the opening weekend of the year, with six conference teams taking part. The following year, Penn State will join in on the Labor Day weekend conference slate when the Nittany Lions open the year in Madison against the Wisconsin Badgers. Over the course of the two seasons, every school in the league will play their first conference game on the season's opening week.
In 2020, the Lions will host five Big Ten games, while 2021 will see four league games in Happy Valley.
