Season tickets for Penn State's 2018 home slate will cost you an additional $5 per game, the athletic department announced Monday afternoon.

It's the first increase from Penn State since 2009. Penn State's home schedule next year features marquee match-ups with Ohio State and Wisconsin, plus Big Ten Conference games against Iowa, Michigan State and Maryland. Kent State and Appalachian State also visit Beaver Stadium as out-of-conference opponents.

Here's more from the AD:

“We are grateful for the tremendous support from Penn State alumni, students and fans for the Nittany Lion football team,” said Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour. “The investment of resources, time and passion our season ticket holders make in our program and the atmosphere they create in Beaver Stadium are unrivaled. The decisions we make come with careful deliberation about the potential impact on our loyal fans and community and the conditions for success they create for our student-athletes.”

Season ticket renewals for the 2018 season started Monday. For more, visit the Penn State ticket portal.
