Reports indicated on Thursday that Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry could be on his way to Louisiana-Lafayette if the price was right. Pry's name emerged as a favorite in the Ragin' Cajuns' search for a head coach, but concerns regarding the school's ability to offer him enough money to bring him on board existed.
One day later and Pry announced that he will stay in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions' defensive coordinator met with the media on Friday and said that he will "stay at Penn State," citing that he loves being with the program. Additionally, Pry seemed to imply that the media's reports about the job search may not have been accurate.
