Tuesday afternoon, 247Sports' Andrew Callahan tweeted out this graphic, which had a dangerous result: It got our staff thinking.

Here's how we'd craft our dream teams under that budget. Pick your teams in the comments!

Matt Filipovits: Matt McGloin, Saquon Barkley, Allen Robinson, Courtney Brown, Paul Posluzny, Marcus Allen

I went with Matt McGloin because he is the best quarterback to ever play at Penn State. Stats and logic are irrelevant and I will die on this hill. Saquon was an obvious choice, he's the best running back to ever do it and was so dang fun to watch. ARob was great with McGloin so we'll keep that train rolling. Courtney Brown was a stud in college and Poz and Marcus Allen would just consistently hit stick people and that would rule.

Matt de Bear: Trace McSorley, Ki-Jana Carter, Allen Robinson, Courtney Brown, LaVar Arrington, Marcus Allen

Trace McSorley is going to leave Penn State holding every meaningful passing record in the school’s history. Ki-Jana Carter was Saquon before there was Saquon, and an injury-marred NFL career sadly made many forget just how good he was. Allen Robinson is the most physically gifted WR to ever suit up for the Nittany Lions.

On defense, Courtney Brown was as dominant a rush end as there was in the college game. LaVar needs no explanation, and $2 is a steal. Marcus Allen may not be the prototypical DB, but his coverage skills are underrated, and no one hits like him.

Craig Fritz: Trace McSorley, Saquon Barkley, Bobby Engram, Carl Nassib, LaVar Arrington, Marcus Allen

To me, there are three players on this chart that are so far above and beyond their peers athletically that I am forced to choose them. Those three are Saquon Barkley, Bobby Engram, and LaVar Arrington. I'll have to make some sacrifices with two-thirds of my budget going to just three players, but that's what great teams do. I'll round out the squad with Trace McSorley, Carl Nassib, and Marcus Allen. You can’t really go wrong with the soon-to-be all-time leading passer in school history, the single-season sack master and a game-wrecker in the secondary.

The beauty of Penn State's history is that in this exercise, you can get all-time defensive greats for dirt cheap. Nassib had statistically the best season a Nittany Lion DE ever had, LaVar is LaVar, and I have nothing to say about Allen that the other three guys didn't already. Any dream team I'm putting together has Saquon as the centerpiece, and I am screaming imagining ARob catching McSorley's bombs. I even have an extra dollar left over that I can invest.
