For anyone who has ever rented, you understand that you are at the mercy of your landlord. That's no different for Pitt Football.
When Penn State visited Heinz Field in 2016, it was a noon game because the Pittsburgh Pirates had a night game scheduled. It looked like this fall's game would be no different. The Pirates were scheduled to play that evening vs. the Miami Marlins at PNC Park, which meant that in all likelihood, it would be another noon game. Over weekend, it was announced that the Pirates have adjusted their start time.
Some potential college football news dropped by the Pirates just now: Bucs move their Sept. 8 game vs. Marlins from 7:05 to 1:05 ET "to allow the University of Pittsburgh to schedule its gridiron clash with Penn State University at night."

Though there has been no formal announcement, all indications are Pitt will try to make their marquee game a primetime event. Penn State knows that they will be in a hostile environment regardless of the kickoff time, but a game under the lights will take it up another notch. Roar Lions Roar will provide more information when official details are released.
