Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi made some headlines for himself last week when he took a questionable route for answering a question about former Pitt recruiting target and current Penn State sophomore safety, Lamont Wade. It was just the latest in a long running saga of the head Panther "going high", as he is known to do.
When asked about the former blue-chip prospect, Narduzzi replied with:
"You don't see him a whole lot. You don't see him a lot out there."
As we said previously, it's possible he meant that he hasn't received much playing time yet. But given Narduzzi's past and his myriad of jabs and digs at Penn State and its coaches, it's not a stretch at all to say that he was mocking a 19-year old who decided to play for someone other than him. It would not be the first time, either. After committing to Penn State in December of 2016, Narduzzi took to Twitter on Christmas Day to not so subtly take a shot at the then high schooler.
But all is well! Penn State decimated Pitt on Saturday night, and Wade took to Twitter in the aftermath to give his response to Narduzzi.

See ya next year, Pat.
