The Iowa Hawkeyes are off to a 5-1 start, and are now ranked No. 19 in the AP Poll. The Nittany Lions, meanwhile, have tumbled down to No. 18 after back-to-back losses. The two teams currently heading in opposite directions will meet once again in Beaver Stadium on Oct. 26. The game has been announced as a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC or ESPN.
The Hawkeyes were last in town two years ago, and the Nittany Lions dropped 41 points and 599 yards of offense en route to a 41-14 runaway victory. All told, Penn State has won the last four meetings between the schools, including last year's thrilling 21-19 last minute victory in Kinnick Stadium. During the streak, which dates back to 2011, the Nittany Lions have outscored Iowa 113-50, with a nearly 16 point average margin of victory.
Penn State faces Indiana this weekend in a 3:30 showdown from Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on ABC, while the Hawkeyes will travel to Maryland for a date with the Terrapins.
