Despite biffing another onside kick recovery and giving Indiana life at the end of the game, Penn State is opening the week as a 4.5-point favorite over Iowa, per Oddshark.

The No. 17 Nittany Lions will play host to the No. 18 Hawkeyes in Beaver Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. It should be a great matchup between the Big Ten foes, pitting Penn State's talented, but recently inconsistent offense against the fearsome Iowa defense, which has graded out as one of the top defenses in the country to this point in 2018.

Make sure you stick with Roar Lions Roar all week as we preview the ranked clash that will go a long way towards determining the ultimate fate of both of these programs come season's end. A loss for the Lions could spell disaster with Michigan and Wisconsin looming in the following weeks, while a loss for the Hawkeyes could put them in an uncomfortable situation with lots of "they might be really bad or they might randomly score 40 points" left on their schedule.
