The Nittany Lions might have to finish the Iowa game without their best player.

Trace McSorley suffered what appears to be a right leg injury after getting crushed between defenders early in the second quarter. Training staff went out to tend to him but he was able to walk off under his own power.

It is unknown if he will return. He was seen on the bike and running on the sideline. He was also seen having a conversation with who appeared to be his father from the stands.

We will update this story as we gather more information.

*Update: Trace McSorley did return to the game later in the quarter.
