Watch: McSorley Connects with Pat Freiermuth to Bolster the Penn State Lead

Pat Freiermuth has become a star for Penn State already as a true freshman. The big tight end has become a reliable target, especially in the red zone, and he grabbed yet another tuddie against Maryland to cap his first regular season in Happy Valley.

McSorley took the snap and tossed his pass the way of Freiermuth while being taken down, and the big freshman bodied his man out of the way and easily secured the catch for McSorley's first passing touchdown of the day and his last within the confines of Beaver Stadium.

With the grab, Penn State extended its lead to 31-3 over the Terps, more or less clinching their ninth win of the season and a pretty great resume for a potential New Year's Six bowl game.
