Penn State football's 2018 regular season is over, and as such, we're in the unfortunate time of the college football calendar where players start to announce transfers. The Nittany Lions suffered their first loss via transfer of the offseason, as former three-star safety recruit Isaiah Humphries announced his decision to leave the university.
Humphries, the son of former Penn State defensive back Leonard Humphries, posted a letter on his Twitter account, saying this is necessary "in order to grow and not lose the passion that I have for football and for everything that I value."

Humphries was a member of Penn State's 2018 recruiting class, and was viewed as a versatile and high-upside safety prospect. A Texas native, Humphries did not appear in any games this season.
We at Roar Lions Roar would like to wish Humphries the best in his future endeavors.
