Every passing year the trend of players starting their college careers as soon as possible seems to increase. The 2019 recruiting class at Penn State is no exception as 11 of 18 signed prospects began life as the newest Nittany Lions on Monday.
The list includes:
- RB Noah Cain
- LB Lance Dixon
- DB Keaton Ellis
- DE Adisa Isaac
- QB Michael Johnson, Jr.
- QB Taquan Roberson
- DB Tyler Rudolph
- LB Brandon Smith
- TE Brenton Strange
- OL Anthony Whigan
- DB Marquis Wilson
Many of the prospects partook in the time-honored tradition of tweeting head coach James Franklin to show they were sitting in the very front of their first class.

As we know, going to class is just part of being a scholar-athlete...
