Former Penn State wide receiver has announced that he will play his final season of college football for the University of Oregon Ducks.

A four-star recruit back in 2015, Johnson caught 81 passes for 1123 yards and two touchdowns in his Penn State career, setting career highs across the board in 2017. He was expected to have a breakout year for the Nittany Lions in 2018 but was plagued by drops for the majority of the season and missed a few games due to injury.

He's expected to compete for a starting job for the Ducks, who are looking to replace their leading receiver from last season, Dillion Mitchell. He will be eligible to play immediately for Oregon as a graduate transfer.

With Johnson announcing his next stop, Zech McPhearson, Brandon Polk, Ayron Monroe, and Cam Sullivan-Brown are the only Nittany Lions still looking for homes in the Transfer Portal. If both Polk and Sullivan-Brown were to transfer, Penn State would be left with just six scholarship wide receivers on the roster.

Thanks for everything, Juwan.
