Penn State signee Daequan Hardy is this year's Big School Mr. PA football.

The Pittsburgh product put together a fantastic senior season as a wide receiver and defensive back, scoring 25 total touchdowns, averaging 22.1 yards per catch on 37 catches, and picking off 10 passes for Penn Hills High School. His best game may have been the PIAA State Championship game, where he registered three interceptions. The Big Red finished the season the season 16-0, winning the aforementioned state title.

Underappreciated due to his small size, the three-star prospect committed to the Nittany Lions on Signing Day eve, the same day he earned his Penn State offer. He made it official the very next day. He will arrive on campus this summer.

Hardy joins Saquon Barkley, Miles Sanders, Michael Shuster, and Lamont Wade as Penn Staters who have won Mr. PA Football.

Julian Fleming, the Nittany Lion's top offensive target in the 2020 class, won the Small School Mr. PA football.
