It was just 17 days ago that a report surfaced indicating Nittany Lion wide receiver Cam Sullivan-Brown had entered his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal. As of Wednesday afternoon that is no longer the case, according to Sean Fitz of Lions247.
Sullivan-Brown will be entering his redshirt sophomore season this fall, and barring an NCAA waiver, would have been forced to sit out a year were he to depart Penn State. Instead, the Nittany Lions will return him to a depth chart in desperate need of experienced bodies at receiver.
Penn State added former Florida State Seminole George Campbell to the roster via a graduate transfer earlier this month. However, Juwan Johnson, Brandon Polk, and DeAndre Thompkins from last year's team have left the program either via transfer, or graduation. While Sullivan-Brown only hauled in four catches in 2018, he will at the very least provide an additional body for new position coach Gerad Parker.
The Nittany Lions may have one more addition up their sleeve as well. Virginia Tech grad transfer Eric Kumah is set to visit State College in April.
