We are all suckers for feel-good things on the Internet. Nothing tugs harder at the heartstrings quite like a walk-on being awarded a scholarship. This past weekend, two Nittany Lions earned their ultimate reward. Wide receiver Issac Lutz and offensive lineman Hunter Kelly earned scholarships for the upcoming season.

Issac Lutz is a redshirt junior who has appeared mostly on special teams. He's a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. On Saturday, Lutz leaned of his good news:

Hunter Kelly came to Penn State by way of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. Though he has never appeared in a game, Kelly's scholarship announcement video captured it all. With his father present at practice, Kelly called up his mother on FaceTime to fill her in on the good news. She was overwhelmed with emotion.

These are the best videos and a perfect way to recognize athletes who commit so much time and effort to the football program.
