Do you need a more tangible sign that college football is rapidly approaching than a new set of betting lines? We didn't think so.

On Thursday, the Golden Nugget released an expansive list of opening betting lines for 100 of the games set for the upcoming season with the most intrigue, at least as of late-May. The Nittany Lions appeared three times on the list, but as an underdog in each instance.

Though these are guaranteed to change as the season gets even closer, and then again after the season begins, and then 50 more times after that, here are the opening lines for three of the biggest away games on Penn State's schedule.

October 12: Penn State at Iowa (-2)

October 26: Penn State at Michigan State (-2)

November 23: Penn State at Ohio State (-10.5)

Only time will tell if these lines are fair or not, but it appears that Vegas will require a bit of convincing before predicting the Trace McSorley-less Nittany Lions to be able to go on the road and steal a win from a conference foe.
