With conference media days set to get underway this week, SuperBookUSA has released their odds for who will make the College Football Playoff, with the Nittany Lions checking in at 20/1.

It's no surprise to see Alabama and Clemson share the top spot, with Georgia right on their heels.

Michigan checking in with 9/4 odds seems high, but it's not out of the place given how much hype the Wolverines annually receive every offseason. Nebraska at 6/1seems astronomically high. Scott Frost is a fantastic coach, but going from 4-8 to having the third-highest playoff odds in the Big Ten just seems silly.

On their own, those odds seem pretty fair given how much the Nittany Lions are looking to replace, especially on the offensive side of the ball. But when you take a look and see the programs that share the same 20/1 odds, it seems like a bit of a slap in the face. Five of those ten teams finished the regular season with .500 record or worse.

The Nittany Lions will kickoff the 2019 season in 47 days, on August 31, against the Idaho Vandals
