Michal Menet has started 20 games for Penn State in his first two seasons. Last season, Menet started 12 games and only missed the Maryland game due to concussion-like symptoms. The Nittany Lions rugged offensive lineman was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List on Friday.

The final taste in the mouth of the offensive line is an unpleasant one after the Kentucky front had their way against the Nittany Lions in the Citrus Bowl. The offensive line has been inconsistent for years now, but even with the departure of Connor McGovern and Ryan Bates, the unit returns plenty of experience. Menet will lead the way along with fifth-year senior Steven Gonzalez as the elder statesman of the group.

A.Q. Shipley remains the only Nittany Lion to have ever taken home the Rimington Trophy, which he won in 2008. The Trophy is award to the nation's top center and is named for former Nebraska center Dave Rimington. Last season, NC State's Garrett Bradbury won the award and was selected in the first round by the Minnesota Vikings.
