Watch: Freiermuth Grabs First Touchdown of the Season

Thank goodness for halftime, am I right?

After a break, the Nittany Lion offense looks much different. After a big return from KJ Hamler and an unnecessary roughness penalty on the Buffalo punter (lol), Ricky Rahne dialed up a pass to Pat Freiermuth right down the middle of the defense that led the sophomore tight end straight into the end zone.

Freiermuth is expected to be one of the top tight ends in the country in 2019, and this first touchdown of the season is a great start to fulfilling that reputation.

Penn State leads 21-10 in the third quarter.
